We installed a brand new Telguard GSM intercom to replace our customer's old broken keypad. Upgrading to this GSM intercom provides the customer with the capability to know when someone is at their gate.
When the call button is pressed, the intercom will call through to the programmed numbers. If the first number called isn't answered, it will divert the call to the next programmed number.
Additionally, we can program an authorised number list so that if it calls the intercom, the gate will be opened automatically.
One of the advantages of using this intercom is that it is all programmed via an app. Once installed, if the customer wants to change the numbers it calls, authorised callers, or keypad code in the future, we can do this remotely from wherever we are.
There is also a "trade" button that allows access without the need to give out the keypad code. This is highly useful for situations such as expecting an Amazon delivery or a postman. The trade button can also be programmed to grant access during specific hours.
We also replaced their faulty control panel, which had failed because the enclosure was cracked, allowing water in, and the entry points were not properly sealed during installation.
We started fresh with a new BENINCA control panel, tidied up the cabling, and reran it in a
flexible conduit to provide protection. Previously, the cables were run directly into the enclosure with no protection.
We made sure to replace any localised cables at no extra cost to our customer just to give us peace of mind. And as a thank you to our customer for taking the time to keep us refreshed with nice cold drinks on a very hot day!
All this left us with an extremely satisfied customer who kindly took the time to leave us a wonderful review on Google.
Our customer had this old 18-year-old system that was pretty much on its last legs.
We completely removed our customer's old and broken automation and started from scratch, whilst using the current gates and posts.
We installed two new CAME foundation casings & CAME FROGA24E Motors, complete with new ducting and cable across the drive. In addition, we fitted the new CAME ZLX24 Control panel and finished up the automation by fitting all the necessary equipment to ensure it met current EN & Gate safety regulations.
We made an extra effort to inspect and fix the customer's pedestrian gate, which has had a faulty electronic lock for years.
Lastly, we installed a Hik-Vision video intercom system that will complement the customer's new Hik-Vision CCTV cameras, which we'll install shortly.
We were contacted by a company in the Nottinghamshire area, which is part of a large nationwide group. They asked us to assess and provide a quote to replace their non-functioning sliding gate automation.
We were thrilled when we were chosen for the job and given the go-ahead with our quote.
We replaced the old system with a ROGER Technology BG30/2204 sliding gate motor, capable of moving a 2200Kg gate.
The gate we worked on was very large and heavy, but well within the rating of this motor. We chose this motor because we've had great experiences with ROGER Technology, and we were not disappointed.
The motor not only moved the gate with ease but was also quiet, smooth, and packed with features!
After completing the job and handing the system over, our contact was delighted with how smooth and quiet it was, as well as the overall quality of our work.
We later found out that our contact had recommended us to other branches within the group and would be recommending us to other businesses within the industrial estate.
Additionally, we've been granted the contract to oversee the entire site from next year onwards.
More information to come in the new year!
We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to complete work for Aston Martin Nottingham.
A lorry hit their rear gate, luckily not causing damage to the gate itself but mangling the Nylofor mesh covering it.
We replaced the damaged mesh with a new Nylofor mesh. Most of the mounting clips were able to be reattached in their previous positions, but 3-4 mounting clips had to be moved.
These clips had to be drilled and tapped to secure the mesh to the gate, as the previous fixings were ripped out during the impact.
The end result is a new 2.3m wide by 2.1m high black mesh finished with black netting to obscure the view into the premise.
Even though it was a small job we completed it to the high standard we strive for leaving us with another satisfied customer who will contact us for any future service needs.
